What is glamping?

There are several definitions of this tourist phenomenon, but its name, as magical or luxury camping, offers more. Its main defining feature is its attachment to nature, without renouncing luxury.

The earliest analogy of the origins of glamping is the XI century. century, in the context of the way of life of the Mongol tribes. The yurts or bungalows of the chiefs were furnished with luxuries to ensure that they were provided with accommodation befitting their rank during the migration. The next mention is from the 1900s, when wealthy Europeans and Americans travelled to Africa on expeditions of discovery and experience, where they were provided with the splendour and comfort of home, so during the journey their servants took their favourite objects and antique furniture with them, so that the traveller would not lack luxury and comfort in the temporary tent.
